Background and Clinical Approach
I am a clinical psychologist who is dually licensed in Texas and Oregon. Always intrigued by the mind-body connection, I hold a doctoral degree in psychology from Walden University as well as a master’s degree in physical therapy from Drexel University (formerly Hahnemann). My training in both psychology and physical therapy has naturally led me to pursue performance psychology, where I am able to apply psychological strategies to help individuals overcome mental barriers, build emotional resilience, and optimize their performance.
I work with individuals facing anxiety and depression who are motivated for change, with a special focus on high school and college aged athletes and high achievers, helping them overcome challenges such as negative self-talk, performance anxiety, and fear of failure. My approach emphasizes solution focused and cognitive behavioral approaches and I often work with clients in short-term therapy. I strive to empower and support my clients in developing the skills and mindset needed to navigate life's challenges independently and meet their personal and mental health goals. My goal is to equip you with the tools you need to manage stress, build mental resilience, and improve emotional regulation, so you can perform at your best—not only in sports, but in all areas of life.
